چکیده
Summary: Background: This study aimed to evaluate the differences between outcomes of patients with intermittent claudication (IC) and chronic limb threatening ischemia (CLTI) who underwent a hybrid procedure comprising common femoral artery endarterectomy endovascular therapy. Patients methods: was retrospective single-center all peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAD) March 2007 August 2018. The primary endpoint patency after 7 years. secondary endpoints were primary-assisted patency, salvage, survival. Results: During follow-up period, 427 limbs in 409 treated. A total 267 160 presented clinical signs IC CLTI, respectively. 30-day mortality 1.4% (IC: 0% vs. CLTI: 3.8%, p=0.001). overall major amputation rate 1.6% 4.4, rates years 63% 94%, respectively, group 57% 88%, CLTI group; difference not significant. Limb salvage (94% 82%, p=0.000) survival (58% 29%, significantly higher group. In multivariate analysis, only risk factor for amputation. single vessel run-off factors death. Statin therapy protective factor. Conclusions: provides excellent results as treatment option multilevel lesions PAD. However, had shorter long-term lower rate.

15 صفحه اولLong-term clinical outcome after endovascular treatment in patients with intermittent claudication due to iliofemoral artery disease.
BACKGROUND The natural history of patients with intermittent claudication (IC) has been reported, but little is known about that of claudicant patients after endovascular therapy (EVT). METHODS AND RESULTS A total of 271 consecutive patients (mean age, 68+/-6 years, 82% men) with IC were treated with EVT for a de novo iliofemoral lesion. Primary patency was defined as treated vessel without r...

Case Summary. A popliteal artery entrapment syndrome and subsequent bypass surgery could cause severe, hard, fibrous occlusion of the native popliteal artery. Endovascular therapy that opens the native vessel is important to keep patency. It was impossible to advance the antegrade wire, as the entry of the native artery was not found by angiography or intravascular ultrasound imaging, making re...

CKD and Acute and Long-Term Outcome of Patients with Peripheral Artery Disease and Critical Limb Ischemia.
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Despite the many studies showing an association between CKD and a high risk of ischemic events and mortality, the association of CKD with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) still has not been well described. DESIGN, SETTING, PARTICIPANTS, & MEASUREMENTS This large cohort study assessed the association of CKD, even in the earlier stages, with morbidity, short- and long...
